Description:
The A.KRÜSS flame photometers are designed for the determination of the concentration of alkali and alkaline earth elements in aqueous solutions.
These devices are a simple and extremely cost-effective alternative to analysis techniques such as ICP or AAS.
Flame photometers are particularly suitable for the quantitative determination of alkali metals such as sodium (Na), potassium (K), and lithium (Li), as well as alkaline earth metals such as calcium (Ca).
Measurement of these elements is performed simultaneously in a single operation.
With consistent modernization of the flame photometers and a strong focus on safety concepts,
completely new fields of application are opened up for a wide range of cost-sensitive customers – from automated incoming goods inspection to the qualification of FFP masks according to DIN 149.
Low operating costs are one of the main strengths of AES, in addition, the technology of the FP8000 series stands out with high analytical accuracy.
Typical applications:
- Analysis of food samples
- Quality assessment of high-purity glass and vials for pharmaceutical packaging
- Concrete classification
- Analysis of infusion solutions.
Laboratory version flame photometer
with manual sample feed, four measurement channels, freely configurable analysis methods, and an additional channel for flame monitoring.
Measurement ranges for undiluted samples:
- 0.01 mg/l to 4500 mg/l sodium
- 0.01 mg/l to 4500 mg/l potassium
- 0.01 mg/l to 4500 mg/l lithium
- 0.50 mg/l to 4500 mg/l calcium
