Extraction unit for 16-cavity capsules with packaging automation

Short description:
The capsules are removed from the open mold using the extraction arm. The presence of the parts is checked on the extraction arm.
Once the extraction arm reaches its end position in the robot, the parts are rotated using a 180° turning station. After the turning process, the capsules are horizontally stacked directly. A separate stack is formed for each cavity. Once the stacks reach a quantity of 24 parts, all stacks are discharged into a buffer.

This buffer is driven by a servo motor with vertical movement. As soon as all 16 stacks are in the buffer, the buffer brings each level to the stacking table's height. Once a row reaches this level, all 4 stacks are pushed onto the table. From this table, the stacks are then automatically packed into boxes using a 6-axis robot.
