Construction of the «WTG-1» wood tool grinder

The WTG is powered by a high-performance 500-watt motor.
A dust-protected, high-precision, ball-bearing linear guide – as used thousands of times in machine tools, industrial robots, and precision special machines – serves as the carriage.
The stepless grinding infeed is achieved by an accurate and self-locking dovetail mechanism.
Tool clamping is secure and stable via a parallel clamping system.
