CIDAN F series metal folding machines are characterized by a robust and stable frame, and are fast and convenient to operate. Reinforced side frames ensure precise and stable movement of the clamping and folding beams. The clamping beam operates via an eccentric mechanism, minimizing component wear during motion. This design also ensures optimal opening and closing speeds. The eccentric drive eliminates the need for adjustments or parameter corrections over the service life, guaranteeing extended lifespan for the clamping motor. During clamping, the eccentric mechanism generates very high clamping force, which is a significant advantage for performing double bends (stiffening ribs).

Software NULINK
The control program is developed specifically for CIDAN folding machines, offering a user-friendly interface to allow even inexperienced operators to navigate, program, verify, and easily design parts. Instructions, notes, and tips are provided with interactive graphics. The control memory can store a large number of programs. NULINK calculates the product’s blank and automatically creates the program. The finished part is displayed with the actual bending sequence. Optionally, an OFFLINE accessory allows preparing drawings from an office computer.

EGS Back Gauge
The EGS is a 1020 mm long automatically adjustable back gauge for folding machines. It features a servo motor and belt drive on both sides. Achieving accurate positioning between 2 and 1020 mm takes less than 2 seconds. The first row of support plates is made of spring steel as standard. With a single pedal press, all supports can be automatically lowered, preventing the material from hitting the back gauge when rotating it on the work table. Optionally, a different back gauge is available—FLEXIBLE, with a depth of 1550 mm – 4200 mm (see Options section).

Tools: Upper Clamping Beam, Lower Beam, and Folding Beam
There are three types of beams in the folding machine: upper clamping, lower, and folding. Each beam comes with different tools. The upper beam tooling is made of 3-4 segments, allowing quick replacement of only the damaged segment, saving time and costs. The upper beam tool parameters: 30° R1. Folding beam tools are available in three widths: 7mm, 10mm, and 15mm. Lower beam tools are robust and prevent sensitive materials from getting scratched or deformed during clamping. Other tool sizes and types are available (see Options section).
