CG 3 – Hold-Point Grinder for Die Cutting Forms

Featuring pneumatic drive for high traction force and patented hold-down system. Designed for burr-free grinding of hold points and to maintain the performance of rubber ejection systems.

The pneumatic drive, powered by compressed air, generates a very high and consistent traction force that is always available—eliminating the need for charging cycles or battery replacement. The fabric-reinforced compressed air hose is extremely flexible.

The large contact area prevents tipping when grinding, enabling the operator to grind hold points straight and with precise positioning. The hold point depth is set accurately via the depth adjustment feature.

The patented hold-down system for rubber ejection and breakout materials prevents grinding into the rubber or profile. The result: fewer and smaller hold points are required, while preserving the die’s rubber ejection performance. The hold-point grinder is available in versions for corrugated and solid board. The attachments match standard widths of diamond grinding wheels used for corrugated and solid board.

With diamond grinding wheels, breakers can be set optimally. Compared to stone grinding wheels, diamond wheels are extremely robust and less prone to breakage. They also offer greater durability and sustainability. The matching diamond grinding wheel for the grinder, in the requested size, is included in the delivery scope.

Manual hold-point tools are the ideal complement to the hold-point grinder. The chisels can be used to enlarge the hold points if necessary after grinding. Two manual hold-point tools are also included free of charge in the package.
