The refrigerated compressed air dryer is designed to lower the temperature of compressed air and remove water and oil particles contained in the air flow. Refrigerated dryers are essential in applications where humid air could cause corrosion, contamination, or damage to tools, machinery, or finished products. 1. Air-to-air heat exchanger

In the first stage of the process, the incoming air passes through a heat exchanger, where it is pre-cooled by the colder air exiting the evaporator. The use of countercurrent flow allows for effective heat recovery, enhancing the overall energy efficiency of the system.

2. Refrigeration circuit evaporator

In the second stage, compressed air enters the evaporator, where it is cooled to a dew point of 3°C. This results in the condensation of water vapor and oil particles contained in the air.

3. Condensate separator

After cooling, the air/gas and condensate mixture enters a high-efficiency separator, where the condensate is separated and automatically discharged from the unit.

4. Fan control system

The variable-speed fan technology enables intelligent adjustment of the cooling intensity to actual demand, which reduces energy consumption and extends component life.
