Building upon the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendly operation of the CR series, the CR5A breaks the payload barrier with a 5 kg capacity, opening up a wider range of applications for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 900 mm, the CR5A meets the demands of heavy-duty picking, packing, palletizing, and welding in the automotive, home appliance, logistics, and metalworking industries.

User-friendly design for faster implementation
The CR5A uses the industry’s first dual-channel end-effector design, allowing direct connection to multiple end tools. It also features a visual status indicator on the base for intuitive recognition of the operational state.

Expanded possibilities with high payload and large reach
The CR5A offers a working radius of 900 mm and a maximum payload of 5 kg. Thanks to an advanced motion control algorithm, the CR5A operates with higher stability and exhibits 50% less residual vibration during emergency stops.

24 interface connections for increased flexibility
The CR5A supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and integrates seamlessly with PLC systems. It is equipped with 24 digital I/O ports and industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN circuitry, allowing for easy application expansion.

High level of protection for safe collaboration.
Robot housing and control unit achieve a high IP54 protection rating. In case of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR5A is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection system, reducing the drop height of the end tool during power failure.
