The Duplo Bookletmaker System 5000/4000 is an advanced and highly efficient finishing solution that optimizes booklet production with precision and reliability. Manufactured in 2013 and currently in operation at a German print shop, this system processes sheets up to 350 x 500 mm, making it perfectly suited for a wide range of booklet and brochure formats.

The system is comprised of two collator towers with 10 bins each (DBM 4000), ensuring smooth and organized sheet collation. Additionally, it includes an output/offset stacker (DBM 4000) for neat delivery stacking, as well as a stitching and folding unit (DBM 5000) for professional booklet assembly. A dedicated pressing unit (DBM 5000) delivers crisp, flat results, while the integrated trimmer (DBM 5000)—equipped with new blades and an upgraded controller—consistently produces clean, precise cuts.

The system features an adjustable kicker/display function for individual interval settings, thereby increasing operational flexibility. The DBM 4000 components were built in 2007, and the DBM 5000 units were added in 2013. With 4 million cycles per tower and 2.5 million cycles on the trimmer, this system has proven its durability and performance. Regular maintenance by FKS Hamburg ensures the machine remains in optimal working condition, meeting the demands of high-volume production.
