Function description: The hot knife system allows for precise and clean separation of the film from the sheet edge after lamination, regardless of the material type. The integrated Scatec correction laser provides real-time sheet alignment control and automatic cutting position adjustment, ensuring perfect alignment of the foil to the printed edge. This solution minimizes errors and increases repeatability of the process, even at high production speeds.
