DBG - 3 in 1
The drill bit grinding machines of the DBG series are designed for sharpening HSS and carbide twist drills. The machine integrates grinding stations for sharpening the point angle, clearance angle, and for point thinning operations.

The machine uses special CBN or SDC diamond grinding wheels, selected according to the drill bit material.

CBN-coated grinding wheels
Deliver outstanding sharpening results at very high speeds without burning. The special thermal conductivity of CBN (boron nitride crystals) dissipates frictional heat through the wheel, preventing edge hardening and virtually eliminating spark formation. CBN features higher thermal stability than diamond and, thanks to reduced wear, is optimal for sharpening HSS tools.
