Emmegi Quadra L1

The QUADRA L1 consists of an automatic loading magazine and a gripper feed for profile lengths up to 7,500 mm. The feed transports the profile bar to the machining unit, which is equipped with 6 spindle motors capable of performing drilling and milling operations all around the profile. The saw module features 3 axes and is fitted with a 600 mm diameter saw blade. The finished part is removed from the machining area by an unloading unit and transferred to the discharge table, where it is conveyed to the pick-up position via powered belts. The machining area is fully enclosed and can optionally be fitted with sound-absorbing panels.

The automatic loading magazine holds up to 15 profiles with a width of 100 mm. Profiles are conveyed to the gripping position via a belt conveyor.

Automatic 3-axis CNC feed unit. Based on profile data, the unit positions itself according to length and cross-sectional geometry at the loading point to feed the bar for processing.

The gripper clamps the profile bar at a predefined position according to the drawing.

A 600 mm saw blade, with 3-axis movement capability, covers a wide cutting range.
