PREMOSYS VE-P-0001 Level Converter
This module is used to convert encoder signals supplied by a standard commercial encoder. These signals can reach voltage levels of 5 to 24V DC. The unit provides galvanically isolated conversion to an output level of 5V DC with RS 422 characteristics.
Additionally, the output signal pulse frequency can be divided at ratios of 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 and 128, with the option to invert the counting direction. This function is easily set via a DIP switch. The division ratios apply only to the encoder counting signals (K1 and K2); the encoder zero signal is transmitted undivided.
