The basic assemblies of the grinding machine include: base, carriage, column with grinding wheel headstock, rotary table, and control cabinet.

The table is driven by a mechanical transmission and a reducer-inverter unit, enabling rotary motion. The table's rotational speed is regulated via a potentiometer located on the machine's control panel. In manual mode, the machine offers jog rotation of the table, controlled from the operator panel.

The transversal feed is performed by the column together with the headstock, moving on linear guides mounted on the base. This feed is accomplished by means of a ball screw, belt drive, and an asynchronous motor controlled by a frequency inverter.

The vertical feed is executed by the headstock moving along slideways of the column. Vertical feed is driven by a ball screw. Continuous feed of the column is stepless, with values set from the control panel.

The machine is equipped with a direct digital readout in the vertical axis with a resolution of 0.001 mm. The operator panel features an electronic handwheel for vertical axis feed during manual operation and an operator panel (programmable display). The grinder allows for infinitely variable spindle and table speed control. The machine can operate in automatic cycle mode, including programming of spark-out passes and other grinding parameters required for the automatic cycle.
