A virtually unused, complete plant for the production of battery housing frames is available. It comprises the following processes: handling, welding, riveting, Rivtac joining, screwing, bonding, sealing, measuring, and testing.

1) Handling & Logistics: Component handling, feeding, transfer, positioning, discharge.
2) Riveting & Rivtac: Stand-alone riveting, Rivtac joining, fastener inspection.
3) Screwdriving processes: Pick & place dual screwdrivers, simultaneous triple screwdrivers, final assembly bolting.
4) Arc welding: Large-block welding methods, welding stations, quadruple clamping concept, rotary devices and trunnion fixtures, automatic segregation of NOK (non-OK) parts.
5) Adhesive & sealer application: Brushing & dry cleaning, adhesive application, sealer application, camera inspection, and discharge for NOK parts.
6) Adhesive cleaning & surface preparation: Dry tape cleaning and manual tape change.
7) Stud welding, positions: 7.
8) Measuring and testing processes: Geometric measurement before milling with NOK rejection, final measurement, seam inspection, leak test, final inspection, cover cap assembly, leak testing station, laser marking with NOK rejection process.
9) Rework area: Robotic leak testing with sniffing method and two manual rework stations.

The plant has hardly been used and only around 1000 components have been produced with it. Documentation is available. On-site inspection is possible.
