Hartum PT-M

The PT-M belt conveyor offered by Hartum is designed to serve as an auxiliary machine in your facility, forming the foundation of any small or large production line. It significantly streamlines the process of loading parts into a sanding machine, allowing for a reduction in the number of operators required for the sanding process.

Loading parts into the sanding machine involves positioning the magazine support in the desired location (to match the length and height of the workpieces; the magazine moves along the entire length of the conveyor), setting the spacers at appropriate intervals, placing the bundle on the conveyor surface, and adjusting the feed speed using a potentiometer. The magazine support, made from durable aluminium and set at the correct angle, enables easy and safe single-item retrieval without risk of surface damage. Parts are automatically picked individually and at preset intervals until the bundle is depleted.

The automatic feeding of parts frees up the operator to supervise the sanding process and collect machined parts from the sander.
