For sale is a used, fully functional, and historically significant carding line for fiber preparation in nonwoven production, consisting of two main components:
• Fiber feeding unit Vibrafeed VF/C-N 85371 by Hergeth Hollingsworth, year of manufacture 1988
• Carding machine by the renowned Austrian manufacturer Joseph Meyers Erben, year of manufacture circa 1950s
This combination of classic post-war carding technology and modular 1980s feeding technology was used until the end of 2024 for processing viscose fibers (including for feminine hygiene products). It has now been dismantled, is ready for transport, and can be inspected in Berlin.
