Clinical Applications:
The Oculight SLx laser system can be used for performing retinal photocoagulation and glaucoma interventions.
While this infrared laser (810 nm) can be used for conventional photocoagulation, it also provides some unique treatment capabilities, such as:
- Transscleral retinal photocoagulation for retinal tears and detachments
- Transscleral cyclophotocoagulation for refractory glaucoma
- Transpupillary thermotherapy photocoagulation for choroidal lesions
- Subthreshold MicroPulse photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration (AMD)

Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO)
- The TruFocus Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO) is ideal for patients best examined and treated in the supine position.
- It is considered an industry-unique optical design that eliminates the need for laser focus adjustment and accommodates a wide range of working distances.
