IR dryer for 28” (50x70 cm) paper and cardboard processing, for example, in the delivery section of a 28” offset printing machine. The lamp holder contains 18 lamps of 1kW each; the frame in which everything is mounted and soldered is liquid-cooled, preferably with coolant, and the warm air is managed by two blowers: one supplies cool air, and the other extracts hot air in case of a paper jam or paper crash, where the machine would stop feeding sheets into the delivery. The lamps are then switched off, and the hot air is forcibly extracted. Everything is clearly illustrated in diagrams, all of which are complete.
