THE MANDREL BENDER WITH MANUAL CLAMPING

This mandrel bending machine, featuring manual quick-release excenter clamping for tube fixation, enables efficient bending processes. The compact drive unit with a removable mandrel holder offers advantages for on-site assembly. Position detection directly on the bending axis ensures optimal bending accuracy. The bending angle is easily and quickly set via a user-friendly touchscreen control with menu-guided interface. The advanced control system allows for two speeds and a programmable overbend function to compensate for material springback.

The bending cycle time is significantly reduced thanks to the automatic "retract" function at the end of the bend. For complex bending tasks, programs can be saved, supporting sequences of up to 50 bends per geometry. An almost unlimited number of programs, as well as up to 200 materials, can be stored on the controller or via USB stick. The plug-in bending tools enable rapid changeover to other tube sizes. For challenging geometries, the machine’s bending direction can easily be reconfigured for standard right or left bending. The open bending unit allows, for example, the bending of railing frames with only one weld seam. Optional PC-based calculation software provides cut length calculations for the entire geometry as well as feed, twist, and bending angles for each bend. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be actuated automatically before reaching a preset bending angle.
