This robust machine, featuring a welded steel construction, ensures exceptionally smooth operation. The two machine bases are designed with offset sections allowing for the grinding of longer workpieces. The three-roller belt guidance system creates a maximally open working area for the operator, providing excellent accessibility especially when using hand sanding blocks. The belt drive is powered by a three-phase motor with a dynamically balanced drive roller. Each belt features individually adjustable, pneumatic belt tensioning, enabling optimal tension force adjustment for each belt. The dust extraction system is designed to effectively collect grinding dust and direct it to the extraction nozzle when connected to a suitable extraction system. For low-fatigue operation, the grinding unit runs on backlash-free roller guides. The machine table can be easily and quickly adjusted to the required workpiece height using the electric table lift. The table lift guide elements are maintenance-free. For loading, the table extends far enough that workpieces do not have to be pushed under the abrasive belt during placement. The main function controls are centrally located and designed for operator convenience.

The basic equipment includes two initial abrasive belts (W x L) 150 x 9000 mm and a contact roller with approx. 50° Shore hardness for 150 mm belt width.

Additional accessories:
3-axis table with integrated handling system for rotating and swiveling workpieces.

The handling device is mounted centrally under the infeed frame. For operations requiring the handling device, the infeed frame is removed from the machine table. The handling unit is equipped with four vacuum suction cups for securely holding workpieces and consists of: the bearing with rotation axis, featuring a brake disc on the rear side. A swivel device is installed at the front of the rotation axis, which can be locked at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. An additional indexing disc on the swivel head enables fine adjustment of the workpiece relative to the abrasive belt. The release of the rotation and swivel axes is pneumatically operated via footswitches; axial movement is manual. Permissible workpiece weight when using the table as a flat table with infeed frame = 80 daN, with handling unit based on the clamping plate = 25 daN or 120 Nm relative to the center of the rotation axis.
