The rigid machine frame, constructed of welded steel, ensures extremely smooth operation. Both machine bases are designed with an offset to enable grinding of workpieces longer than the machine table itself. The grinding belt is guided by three deflection rollers, providing the operator with an exceptionally open and accessible workspace, ideal especially for use with hand sanding blocks. The belt drive is powered by a three-phase motor with a dynamically balanced drive roller. Belt tension is pneumatically adjustable. The dust collection device is dimensioned to efficiently capture grinding dust and direct it to the extraction port when connected to a suitable extraction system. To allow for fatigue-free operation, the grinding unit runs in play-free, precise roller guides. The machine table can be quickly and easily adjusted to the appropriate workpiece height via the electrical table lift. The table lift guide components are maintenance-free. For loading, the table can be extended sufficiently so that workpieces can be placed without the need to slide them under the grinding belt. All main electrical controls are centrally located for user-friendly operation.

The standard machine is supplied with an initial equipment belt (W x L) 150 x 7100 mm and a contact roller approx. 50° Shore for 150 mm belt width.

Additional accessories:
3-axis table with integrated handling system for rotating and tilting workpieces.

The handling system is mounted centrally beneath the infeed frame. To operate the handling system, the infeed frame is removed from the machine table. The handling system is equipped with four vacuum suction cups to hold workpieces and consists of: A bearing with a rotation axis featuring a brake disc at the rear. At the front of the rotation axis, a tilting device is mounted, which can be locked at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. An additional indexing disc on the tilting head allows for fine adjustment of the workpiece to the sanding belt. The release of the rotation and tilt axes is pneumatically controlled by foot switch, while manual movement of the axes is required. Maximum permissible workpiece weight: as flat table with infeed frame = 80 daN; when using the handling device (on the clamping plate) = 25 daN or 120 Nm (relative to axis center).
