The compressed air blasting units of the SBM series are mobile machines designed for advanced surface treatment using a jet of compressed air and abrasive media. The advantageous conical bottom design facilitates abrasive flow and, together with the option to use various valve types, allows processing with all types of abrasives featuring spherical, rounded, and/or angular shapes and any grit size.

SBM series blasting units can achieve surface finishes up to class SA-3/SP5 and cleaning capacities of up to 106 m²/h. SBM series sandblasters are equipped with large claw couplings, which ensure quick and secure connections while maintaining high compressed air throughput. Abrasive loading is carried out via a pneumatically operated rubber membrane—with no need for inefficient threaded connections—making SBM series blast units safer and easier to operate. The units are also equipped with a large inspection valve that enables quick tank emptying and allows internal inspection. SBM series blast units allow simultaneous operation with one or two working nozzles (depending on model).

Operation of the blasting device (in pneumatic or electric versions) is intuitive and precise, as the control handle is located at the end of the working hose. The clear advantage of this solution is that the operator performing the cleaning can interrupt machine operation directly, as required by the latest health and safety regulations (solution available as an optional extra).

The container of the SBM blasting unit was designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, based on and under the supervision of a notified body, and is CE-marked.
