The SBM series pressure blast units are mobile machines designed for advanced surface treatment using compressed air and abrasive media. The advantageous conical bottom design facilitates abrasive flow, and the option to use various valve configurations makes these systems suitable for processing all types of abrasives, whether spherical, round, and/or angular in shape, and of any grain size.

The SBM series blast units can achieve surface cleanliness up to SA-3/SP5 and a working capacity of up to 106 m²/h. The sandblasters of the SBM series are equipped with large claw couplings, ensuring quick and secure connections with high compressed air flow rates. Media loading is handled by a pneumatically operated rubber diaphragm—eliminating the need for inefficient screw connections—making the SBM series blasters safer and easier to operate. The blast machine is also equipped with a large inspection valve, allowing for rapid tank emptying and internal inspection. SBM series blast machines allow simultaneous operation with one or two blast nozzles (depending on model).

Control of the blasting unit (available in pneumatic or electric versions) is intuitive and precise, enhancing efficiency as the control grip is located at the end of the work hose. The undeniable advantage of this setup is that the operator performing the cleaning can interrupt machine operation directly, in line with the latest health and safety regulations (solution available as an optional extra).

The pressure vessel of the SBM blasting unit was designed and manufactured in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, based on and under the supervision of a design approved by a notified body. The vessel carries the CE mark.
