Our KVK 5 is a semi-automatic rotary arm wrapper which, compared to our turntable wrappers, offers the advantage that your pallets can be placed at ground level for the wrapping process. It is equally ideal for light and unstable as well as heavy goods, as no centrifugal forces are generated and there is no load capacity that needs to be considered.

In addition, the KVK 5 model is equipped with a pre-stretch system allowing for a 250% stretch. With this pre-stretch system, you can turn 1 meter of film on the roll into up to 3.5 meters of film on the pallet, drastically reducing your material consumption.

The KVK 5 applies only minimal application tension, ensuring that even lightweight goods are not pulled off the pallet.

Only the application and cutting of the film still need to be carried out manually with this wrapper.

The machine’s weight of nearly 1000 kg demonstrates just how robust and stable this wrapper is built.

With its rotary arm, it can wrap pallets with maximum dimensions of up to 1.00 x 1.20 x 2.40 m.

With adjustable speeds for both the rotary arm and film carriage, as well as a pre-stretch unit that can be regulated via potentiometer, you can perfectly tailor the automated wrapping process to your product. Automatic pallet detection (via photocell) comes as standard, as do adjustable header and footer wraps. The machine offers programs for "up only" wrapping, "up & down" (cross wrapping), and "weatherproof" wrapping.

In addition to an optional photocell for detecting dark products or black film, this wrapper can be supplied either for wall mounting or with the freestanding bases shown.

We recommend this model if it is important for you not to have to manoeuvre your goods over a ramp – for example, if they are too heavy or unstable. Because the rotary arm moves around the pallet in this design, it also avoids any centrifugal forces. This, combined with the low application tension of the pre-stretch system, makes the KVK 5 ideally suited for very lightweight loads as well.
