Year of manufacture: 2015. The printer has always been in our showroom. We have only printed about 10 cards with it before deciding that this type of system is not suitable for our company. Therefore, a practically brand-new unit is now available.

The Matica Espresso II is a compact and powerful desktop ID card printer, designed in Italy and engineered to deliver reliable German performance. The Espresso II offers excellent value and versatility, with remarkable print speed and outstanding print quality. Thanks to its robust, durable construction, the Espresso II fits perfectly into any office or card production environment, both in terms of appearance and performance.

The Espresso II is a single-sided desktop ID card printer, suitable for projects that require printing only on one side of the card. The printer can be easily upgraded in the field to double the printing capacity by adding duplex functionality. Any Espresso II model can be upgraded to duplex at any time and location, without the need for additional hardware components. Contact and contactless smart card encoders are also available as field-upgradable features.

LED status indicators on the front of the printer provide real-time monitoring of the card production process from a distance, while the blue LED light on the card hopper door helps you keep track of your card input status at all times. The optional single card manual insertion allows for individual card printing as needed. Each unit includes a rear output hopper to collect entire print runs, improving throughput during high-volume jobs. The standard setup with front input and output trays is practical in environments with limited space, such as desktops, cabinets, or under-counter installations. Each Espresso II printer may also be equipped with inline magnetic stripe, contact, or contactless smart card encoders, maximizing its functionality for many applications including access control, time & attendance, payment solutions, and more.

All models in the series offer Ethernet connectivity and optional WiFi, ensuring convenient and trouble-free printing and encoding. You can configure your printer to perfectly meet your current requirements, as the Espresso II range covers various options. If your needs evolve in the future, upgrades can be performed by adding features to your existing setup.
