Automatic Feed Control AD 5
Various grinding cycles are available: surface grinding with feed at the starting point, slot grinding with feed at the starting point, and slot grinding with feed at both the starting and end points. The infeed of the grinding wheel can be individually adjusted according to the workpiece. The total grinding allowance is divided into coarse and fine infeed; the infeed steps can be freely set with a minimum increment of up to 0.001 mm, depending on the application. It is possible to program idle strokes after a defined number of infeed steps as well as spark-out passes after reaching the grinding dimension, ensuring optimal grinding results.
