Description
The hydraulically operated and extremely robust stack cutter from PFI (virtually identical in design to the DUPLO 490) offers high performance and precision cutting for the on-demand market. This stack cutter is manufactured to the highest quality standards and delivers high-speed cutting for stacks up to 490mm wide and up to 70mm thick. Safety light curtains protect the operator during use, ensuring no accidents occur and preventing cutting when objects are detected in the cutting area. In addition, the cutter is activated by dual push buttons, requiring both hands and ensuring no hand remains on the table. First, set your cutting specifications on the user-friendly control panel. The back gauge is positioned by a motorized drive based on the digital display and can also be fine-tuned manually using a hand wheel. An optical cutting line precisely illuminates where the blade will cut. The foot pedal at the front of the machine engages the clamp to secure the paper stack.

The system was in daily production until recently and is being sold due to an upgrade to a wider machine. Testing is possible at any time.
The machine underwent a complete hydraulic and electrical overhaul two years ago (approx. €4,000, now virtually as-new) and is in excellent condition. Since this system has almost no electronics (except for the measuring display, which is modest) and control is via plug-in relays, it is virtually indestructible. Various spare parts such as relays, limit switches, etc. are included in the event they should ever need replacement.
