Produktionsanlage für Fertigwände Stein

The production facility was originally built in its first version in 2014 by FC Sonderkonstruktions GmbH. Initially, the plant produced precast masonry elements made of clay bricks/stones.

In 2020/21, the facility was refitted and relocated to its current site by Keller HCW GmbH, adapted to the current block formats and lightweight concrete blocks. This modernization involved extensive modifications and the installation of numerous new components. The total investment in 2021 amounted to almost €3.5 million.

The plant remained in operation until November 2023, after which it was shut down due to the closure of the factory. Consequently, most components of the installation are in near-new condition.

The plant is designed and constructed for use in the construction industry, specifically for manufacturing precast wall elements. The following processes can be performed:
- Transporting of shipping packages (bricks on pallet)
- Destacking of shipping packages
- Stacking of shipping packages
- Transporting of shipping pallets
- Transfer of bricks/blocks
- Transporting rows of bricks/blocks
- Grouping rows of bricks/blocks

- Drilling rows of bricks/blocks for anchor bolts
- Placing rows of bricks/blocks onto transport pallets
- Applying mortar to rows of bricks/blocks
- Lowering transport pallets loaded with rows of bricks/blocks
- Moving empty or wall element loaded transport pallets

Operation of the plant is managed via two centrally arranged control stations. It is designed for a production schedule of 50 weeks per year, with 5 working days per week and two shifts of 8 hours each per day.

Currently, the machine is configured for blocks 15 cm or 36.5 cm wide. In the present setup, annual output can reach up to 225,000 square meters (theoretical calculation based on maximum capacity: 16 hours/two shifts, 5 working days per week, 50 weeks per year).

Maximum dimensions per element currently achievable:
- 6,500 mm in width
- 3,500 mm in height
