Printing process:
The patented VFGF technology (Variable Fused Granulate Fabrication) is an advancement of pellet-based 3D printing featuring a variable nozzle opening. It prints in high resolution only where necessary—such as on visible surfaces—and efficiently fills internal areas with thicker layers. VFGF thus combines the advantages of FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) for fine details and complex geometries with those of granulate printing (high output rates, material versatility, lower costs). Intelligent algorithms ensure the correct amount of material is applied precisely where needed, even with complex shapes, overhangs, or support structures.

Areas of application:
Suitable for prototypes, single parts, small batches, or even higher production volumes. By melting material in a specially developed screw extruder, high output rates are achieved, significantly reducing print times. Typical use cases include the aerospace, mechanical engineering, and automotive industries.
