Ensuring top-quality coating essentially starts with proper degreasing – the foundation of every paint job. Coating on inadequately degreased parts will peel off very quickly. After degreasing, the next step is to abrade the surface coating of the part, which improves paint adhesion—for example, when bending sheet metal—and to apply protective layers, such as a phosphate coating, which further enhances corrosion resistance. There are many solutions to address the aforementioned issues. But what is the most important thing in a powder coating workshop?
