The (fish-type mask) mask production machine offered here combines efficiency and safety features with an optimized fit. These product features are achieved, among other things, thanks to the use of ultrasonic technology, an intuitive HMI with touchscreen for simple and clear operation, as well as an optimized and robust steel unwinding unit.
Process steps at a glance:
- Feeding of filter fleece via an edge control system and nasal wire, uniform welding of the mask followed by folding and separation of the mask body.
- The next process step is the attachment of the ear band using ultrasonic technology. Optionally, camera inspection, stacking unit, and a flowpack machine may be ordered additionally.

- Welded unwinding unit with a total of 4 manual expanding shafts, magnetic powder brakes, and web edge control system for feeding the filter fleece.
- Nasal wire feed is accomplished by an additional unwinder.
- The use of discs in combination with slim aluminum profiles provides good visibility into production with full operator protection at the same time.
- Upon request, we offer various printing systems to print legally required information onto your mask.
- Use of ultrasonic technology and durable materials such as titanium ensures increased machine availability compared to conventional materials.
- High precision due to servo-driven motors.
- Consistent material feeding and guidance, as well as separation by a rotary cutter with side scrap discharge.
- High-resolution, operator-friendly HMIs with touchscreen.
- Mask body welding with ultrasonic technology with subsequent folding die and welding of the top and bottom surfaces.
- Precise separation of the mask from the scrap using a rotary cutter, followed by dispensing the mask and side discharge of the scrap.
- Subsequent ear band bonding by ultrasonic technology.
- Optional: Camera inspection with good/bad part detection
- Optional: Subsequent discharge to a stacker
- Optional: Transfer to a flow-pack station for individual mask packaging
