For a Wide Range of Requirements
The piston dosing systems from Scheugenpflug operate on the principle of volumetric dosing; the dispensed material quantity is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the corresponding cylinders. Filling the cylinder with potting material is achieved by supply from an appropriate material feed system. When a two-component medium is used, the volumes of both cylinders simultaneously set the mixing ratio of resin to hardener. The dosing pistons push the two components simultaneously through separate channels toward the outlet valve, where they only mix in the static mixing tube to form a homogeneous reactive medium.
The DOS P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA piston dosing systems are highly precise volumetric dispensers designed to process 1C and 2C materials, covering a broad range of requirements. Precisely dimensioned dosing cylinders ensure the delivery of reproducible material volumes.
For 2C materials, parallel emptying of both cylinders into the shared mixing tube guarantees a consistently constant mixing ratio for maximum process reliability. In addition, even pressure, moisture, or shear-sensitive potting materials can be gently processed without material deterioration.
