The silos are used for storing cement, fly ash, bentonite, and other bulk materials, and are available in bolted, welded, and horizontal designs.

Welded Silos
Welded silos are preferred for lower storage capacities; they can be assembled and put into operation within two hours using a crane. They are the solution of choice for local applications where transport costs are not significant. Semix can manufacture welded silos with capacities ranging from 50 to 150 tons.

Bolted Silos

Bolted silos are chosen due to their compactness for transport. They can be shipped in containers to minimize transport costs. Thanks to their modularity, Semix is able to manufacture bolted silos with capacities between 100 and 2,000 tons. Semix provides a mechanical specialist to ensure correct assembly of the bolted silo. Semix has completed installations of bolted silos in Peru, Israel, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
