2.1 Intended Use
The RFID write/read device RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor of the RFU6xx (UHF) product family. Version (operating range): Long Range.
The stationary device automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. It also supports data carrier management.
The compact write/read device, with up to 4 external antennas, processes data from all standard passive transponders as per ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHF C1G2 within the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not have a built-in (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic allows operation as a stand-alone solution or grouped in network mode. The reading results are transmitted to a higher-level computer via the host interface, which coordinates further data processing in the workflow.
Through its host interface, the device also receives appropriate management commands (write, read, etc.) for the data carriers.
