With the SM1 series, also marketed under the name AMPAG Sprint, the German manufacturer Schwede Maschinenbau GmbH has created a true long-running classic that is still in use thousands of times today. Whether in print shops, lettershops, or in warehousing and logistics, this all-rounder enjoys great popularity in a wide range of industries thanks to its low-wear and low-maintenance technology. Our model also comes equipped with a second foot switch on the rear and a tabletop sensor for automatic strapping cycle activation. The device, manufactured in 2009, was already fitted by SMB with the new, user-friendly control panel, which is still featured in current models. With its four smooth-running heavy-duty castors and single-phase 230V power connection, this extremely compact unit can be easily deployed wherever needed in your facility.

Fast thanks to compact design
The compact strap frame covers a wide range of possible applications. Package sizes up to approx. 450 mm x 500 mm can be strapped with either 5 mm or 9 mm wide strap. This design enables particularly fast strapping cycles, as the strap only needs to travel a short distance through the frame. Strapping at one-second intervals is no problem.

With our thoroughly overhauled used machines, you get like-new technology at used machine prices. We ensure that only technology that still meets today’s requirements is refurbished. Our full 12-month warranty promise naturally also applies to our SMB AMPAG Sprint. This puts you on the safe side. Should anything break down during this time, we will replace the defective part and install it at no cost to you (excluding consumables and travel costs).
