The machine is currently disassembled and undergoing refurbishment with the following scope of work:

- Complete disassembly and cleaning
- Inspection of all components
- New Tribotec lubrication unit
- Overhaul of independent balancing circuit for the console
- Milling head “O” – complete overhaul including replacement of gear wheels
- Replacement of gearbox bearings
- Replacement of drive belts
- Repair of ball screws and their bearings
- Resealing of hydraulic circuits throughout the machine and replacement of solenoid valves
- Addition of automatic gear lubrication in the milling head
- Resealing of all hydraulic cylinders and upgrade of sealing components
- Overhaul of the hydraulic power unit
- Overhaul of Indramat feed motors and spindle motor
- Repair and adjustment of Indramat drives
- Overhaul of electrical cabinet with control elements
- Replacement and upgrade of limit switches throughout the machine
- Repair or replacement of cabling for the Heidenhain system including TNC 426
- Overhaul of the control panel
- Overhaul of the Heidenhain control system including TNC 426, keyboard, and display unit
- The machine will be fully operational, with geometric accuracy certified by a protocol
- New machine paintwork in RAL 5005 and RAL 9010 color scheme
