The self-pierce rivet initially penetrates all joining partners and pushes the punched slug out of the joint area.

With this innovative self-pierce riveting technology, TOX PRESSOTECHNIK, the specialist for sheet metal connections, expands its product and service portfolio with a pioneering joining process.

Self-pierce riveting provides an additional mechanical sheet metal connection, which is of great importance for lightweight constructions and for joining hybrid parts and assemblies.

The rivet feed systems, tongs, and tool holders are universally designed so that self-pierce rivets with diameters of 4.0 mm and lengths between 3.3 and 8.1 mm, as well as self-pierce rivets with diameters of 5.0 mm and lengths between 3.9 and 9.0 mm, can be flexibly processed with either TOX hand tongs or TOX robotic tongs.
