The parameters glucose, lactate, and hemoglobin can all be determined from a single sample, maximizing efficiency and saving time.

The system automatically detects whether whole blood is used or not. For whole blood samples, it also determines the hematocrit value in addition to glucose, thereby providing plasma-referenced glucose values according to guidelines. Daily device maintenance is not required, as the system flushes and calibrates itself automatically. This makes it as user-friendly as a point-of-care testing device.
