Compact, high-efficiency combined heat and power plant (CHP) featuring a state-of-the-art SCANIA V8 lean-burn turbocharged 4-stroke gas Otto engine. The genset, gas pressure regulation section, mixture and engine water cooling circuit are mounted on a base frame for power and heat generation. Equipped with a high-quality synchronous generator (3 phase, 400V, 50Hz) for parallel grid operation and optimized heat extraction via plate heat exchanger for heating/process water with a temperature level of 85°C supply / 70°C return.
OPTIONAL: Fitted with a catalytic converter (optionally SCR system) for low-emission operation in accordance with MCP Directive (EU) and 44th BImSchV (DE).

The CHP unit is equipped with a control cabinet featuring a display for visualization of all relevant operating parameters, including a DSL modem for remote maintenance and external monitoring, as well as an interface for control power integration with the E2M energy pilot. The delivery also includes a grid starter for optimal starting speed, gas detector, smoke detector, emergency stop switch, and alarm beacon/horn.
All pipelines are made of stainless steel (V2A) and insulated where necessary. To ensure the engine remains warm, installed heat pumps are programmed to operate in a defined cycle, maintaining the desired temperature.
An automatic gas shut-off valve for external mounting (outside the CHP installation room) is not included in the scope of delivery.

The CHP plant complies with the medium voltage guideline VDE-AR-N 4110:2018-11.

An automatic gas shut-off valve for installation outside the CHP housing and all operating fluids are not included in the supply scope.

The CHP can be supplied optionally in a container.

The entire genset is also available in a natural gas version.
