Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Bio-Waste Ordinance (BioAbfV)

Ideal for biowaste separation: Effortlessly comply with the legal 1% threshold!

Starting May 2025, biowaste may only be processed if the impurity content is below 1.0 wt.-%. Our Lepton 5100 is engineered precisely for this requirement.

Advantages of the Lepton 5100: Separation instead of Shredding

Gentle Bag Opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without being shredded. A pre-shredder (slow-runner) is not required!

Maximum Foil Size: Films remain largely intact and are effectively removed during the first screening cycle, preventing fragmentation during compost turning, heat, and UV exposure in the heap.

Highest Purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and ensures end-product quality.

Process Innovation (flexible control):

Organic Waste Processing (2 fractions): Reversible mid-fraction conveyor homogenously combines mid and fine fractions. Outcome: Clean target material for digestion/composting plus oversize fraction with films/impurities.

Compost Refinement (3 fractions): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect ejects stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove remaining film residues.

Current Field of Application: Successful biowaste preparation for wet fermentation. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogeneous fraction for the digester, preventing sink or floating layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: Live inspection available at our partner facility in the Kelheim district. Processes can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
