Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Bio-waste Ordinance (BioAbfV)

Ideal for organic waste separation: Effortlessly comply with the statutory 1% threshold!

From May 2025, bio-waste may only be treated if the impurity content is below 1.0% by weight. Our Lepton 5100 was designed exactly for this requirement.

Advantages of the Lepton 5100: Separation instead of shredding

Gentle bag opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without shredding their contents. A pre-shredder (slow-speed) is not required!

Maximum film size: Foils remain largely intact and are effectively removed in the initial screening process before fragmenting in the composting process due to mixing, heat, and UV exposure.

Highest purity: Prevents microplastics during processing and ensures end product quality.

Process innovation (flexibly controllable):

Organic waste processing (2 fractions): Reversible intermediate fraction conveyor combines middle and fine fractions for a homogeneous material. Result: Clean fractional output for digestion/composting plus an oversize fraction with foils/impurities.

Compost refining (3 fractions): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect removes stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove any remaining foils.

Current area of use: Successfully processing organic waste for wet fermentation. The machine produces a contaminant-free, homogeneous fraction for the fermenter, preventing floating or sinking layers.
