Automatic tray sealer including module for creating a modified atmosphere. Optionally, a protective gas mixture and/or vacuum is generated inside the tray – before sealing the tray with film. A skin-vacuum module can be integrated into the packaging machine at additional cost. The AMTEC tray sealer is therefore particularly appealing for products from the food industry, as the displacement of oxygen keeps food fresh and extends shelf life. Ribbon printer for best-before date or batch number is included in the price. PLC by OMRON, touchscreen by WEINVIEW, servo motors by Panasonic, pneumatic valves and cylinders by AIRTAC.
