The new, large freeformer 300-3X processes three components using ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (AKF) and— for the first time worldwide — enables industrial additive manufacturing of complex functional parts in durable hard-soft combinations with support structures.
The designation 300 refers to the available build platform area in square centimeters.
Compared to the freeformer 200-3X, the build space now offers 50 percent more room for parts with dimensions up to 234 x 134 x 230 millimeters.
“3X” refers to the three axes of the build platform, which can move in the x, y, and z directions.
