BHK-TECH MW50-2V Microwave System

System and Function Description

Microwave system, consisting of two MW50 V microwave modules, an internal roller conveyor, and two external roller conveyors.

The actual microwave chamber is constructed from 3 mm stainless steel sheet and features control cabinet segments permanently mounted along its length. The high-frequency components are installed behind mechanically and electrically secured covers.

The roller conveyor system for pallet transport within the installation is designed in a microwave-shielded form.

The microwave system is equipped with a total of 32 magnetrons, which deliver energy directly into the chamber interior.

This technology ensures uniform energy distribution within the chamber.

The magnetrons can only be switched on when the door is closed and properly locked.

A sealing system at the door opening prevents microwave leakage radiation.

Any vapors that may arise are extracted via 2 exhaust fans with a total conveying capacity of 17,000 m³/h (free-blowing).

The necessary cooling of the high-frequency components is provided by the airflow from the exhaust fans, supported by 4 supply air fans (each with a free-blowing capacity of approx. 3,500 m³/h).

There is a separate driven roller conveyor located in front of the unit.

The pallet is loaded and unloaded manually by the customer.

Position sensors check whether the pallet is correctly positioned on the roller conveyor. The program is started at the control panel using a switch. The loaded pallet is transported into the microwave system and positioned by a light barrier.

The microwave system doors are closed and the microwave treatment is activated.

Once the microwave treatment is complete, the door opens and the pallet is transported to the discharge conveyor.

The activation time of the magnetrons can be preset at the main control panel in four power levels.
