Heater Element Welding Machine HP60/40 by BRANSON
Drive: Hydraulic, supported by precise positioning and control systems.
The machine is equipped with its own vacuum pump.
Usable heating element area: Width 600 mm x Depth 400 mm
Maximum part dimensions:
- Max. part width: 620 mm
- Max. part depth: 420 mm
- Max. upper part height: 350 mm
- Max. lower part height: 350 mm
(Combination of part heights possible, depending on contour)
- Max. working temperature for contact process: 400°C
Klodpoykvdlofx Ac Hon
The machine’s modular frame design allows for easy conversion and retrofitting. The side doors in the welding area can be easily opened (for quick changeovers). The automatic safety lift door provides high operator safety. The temperature controllers in the control panel feature actual/target value displays. The operator interface is a Siemens PLC control panel. Machine control is managed by Siemens PLC (S7-300 control).
The heating elements are equipped with temperature sensors for temperature regulation and safety shut-off in the event of overheating. Pin systems in the clamping surfaces allow for reproducible positioning of workpiece holders.
Advantages of heater element welding technology:
- Reliable welding of workpieces with thin or varying wall thickness is possible.
- Low reject rate thanks to precise and reproducible welded joints.
- Precise control of time, temperature, and force enables welding of even sensitive parts.
- Almost all thermoplastics can be welded using this process.
- Various types of plastics can be welded to each other (compatibility should be verified).
