Specifications
The ClearO2 W100 is designed as a supplement to the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction units from Translas. By combining the welding fume torches of the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction units with the ClearO2 W100 units, between 90% and 98% of welding fumes are captured at the source and filtered with an efficiency of >IFA 99.8%. The compact unit, weighing only 45 kg, features four wheels—two of which are lockable—making it perfectly suited for easy relocation around the workplace.
Automatic Cleaning
The ClearO2 W100 features an automatic cleaning system using a reverse compressed air pulse. When the vacuum level in the filter becomes too high, the unit automatically initiates filter cleaning. A manual cleaning function can also be triggered with the push of a single button. An automatic start/stop function—standard on all ClearO2 units—saves energy and synchronizes operation with the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction units. As soon as the torch is removed from its specially designed holder, the machine begins operation automatically.

Continuous Duty Motor
The device’s electric motor is engineered for continuous operation without loss of performance. Thanks to the automatic cleaning function and a simplified motor system, maintenance requirements are minimal, making the unit durable and time-saving. With a filter surface area of 5 m², it is among the most efficient units of its class, featuring the largest filter. The filter is disposable and provides an active surface with an efficiency rating of IFA >99.8%.
Lightweight and Mobile
The ClearO2 W100 units are designed to meet the needs of welders who must frequently change their workstation. Typical applications include shipbuilding, wind tower construction, tank fabrication, and other similar manufacturing industries. Thanks to its four wheels (two with locking brakes) and light weight—only 45 kg—the unit can be easily moved to the next workstation.
