Description of Z axis measurement direction switching:

The measurement direction switching enables surface probing in two directions. This allows inner and outer contours to be evaluated relative to each other without losing measurement reference. This function can be used without restrictions in fully automated measurement programs.

Additional evaluation possibilities include, for example:
