Horizontal metal-cutting band saw with a swiveling arm, designed for cutting metals, allows for cuts perpendicular to the axis of the material as well as at any angle from 0 to 60º. The material can be fed manually or by any mechanical feeder, with automatic tool feed. The blade guides feature dedicated carbide plates and bearings, which have a significant impact on blade guidance, durability, straightness of cut, and overall cutting precision and quality.

The machine arm is made from profiled CAST IRON. The control panel is mounted on the arm. Power from the electric motor is transferred to the drive wheel of the cutting band via a geared worm drive. The cutting blade is tensioned over two cast iron wheels using a manual tensioner and is guided by an adjustable rolling and linear carbide guide set. Inside, there is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump. The arm downfeed speed (cutting speed) is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder, and feed rate is regulated from the control panel. Two blade speeds are available: 36 and 72 m/min. When the arm is in the idle position (after cutting), the band drive motor is automatically switched off. Safety is ensured by the blade covers and micro-switches that stop the motor at the end of the cutting cycle or when any guard is opened; additional protection is provided by automatic shutoff of the band saw in case of blade breakage.
