The machine features a reinforced vice base and a quick-release vice. Machine Features: The CORMAK HBS320 metal bandsaw allows material cutting at any angle within a range of -45° to +60°. The workpiece can be fed manually or via any feeding device. The cutting feed is gravity-controlled, based on oil flow in the hydraulic cylinder. The operator starts the machine by pressing the start button and sets the cutting speed. Once the cutting cycle is complete, the machine shuts off automatically, and the operator raises the saw arm to the starting position. The saw arm is made from a very robust, one-piece grey cast iron casting. Along with a 27 mm wide band blade, it allows for multiple serial cuts of structural, stainless, and tool steels. The vice is located on an adjustable bed and is equipped with a quick-clamping feature. The blade guides are fitted with ball bearings and carbide inserts, ensuring excellent precision and straightness of cuts, significantly impacting blade guidance, service life, accuracy, and cut quality. Carbide blade guidance greatly reduces wear on both the machine and the blade. The base is a rigid, welded steel sheet structure. Inside, there is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump. The shape of the upper part of the base forms a tray for coolant drainage and chip collection during material cutting. The base is fitted with a cast iron worktable with a swivel arm on both sides and a control panel. Feed rate is adjustable on the saw’s control panel. Two blade speeds are available: 44 and 88 m/min. Once the arm reaches the lowest position—the end of the cut—the drive to the bandsaw blade switches off automatically. Safety is provided by blade guards and micro safety switches that stop the motor at the end of the cutting cycle or when any guard is opened. Additional safety includes automatic switch-off if the bandsaw blade breaks.
