The CORMAK H - 260 SA automatic column band saw is a highly efficient machine designed for automatic-cycle cutting of bars, tubes, and profiles made of steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Its robust body and heavy-duty saw frame, combined with a column-based design, provide excellent rigidity and outstanding stability during cutting, even with the most challenging materials. The saw is equipped with a PLC controller and an intuitive touchscreen interface.

The saw allows cutting in both manual and automatic modes.

Manual mode enables all operations to be performed directly from the machine control panel.

In automatic mode, after activating the machine, the entire cutting cycle—including clamping the workpiece in the vise, feeding to a specified length, lowering the arm for cutting, and lifting it to the set height after completion—all occur without operator intervention.

Cutting parameters such as cut quantity, lengths, blade speed, and arm descent rate are set via the control panel. The machine stops automatically when the batch is completed, the blade breaks, or in the event of another malfunction detected by the saw’s control system.

The machine frame is an iron casting mounted on a rigid, spatial plate-based structure. Inside the enclosure are the hydraulic unit, coolant tank with pump, and swarf conveyor.

The blade drive uses an inverter-controlled motor, enabling smooth speed regulation over a wide range. Hydraulic blade tension ensures optimal working conditions. In the event of a blade breakage, the machine halts automatically. The cooling system and cleaning brush prolong blade life and ensure maximum cutting performance.

The hydraulic material feed system enables fully automatic operation. The controller, equipped with an LCD display, allows programming of saw operations, signals material end, displays error messages, and informs the operator about the number of pieces cut after the programmed interval. The maximum single feed per stroke is 500 mm with a precision of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
